My husband has been searching for his childhood friend for nearly 10 years. He called me over to the computer a few weeks ago excited to see his friends name on a website. Yes it had finally happened, he sent the email awaiting reply.
My husband said somthing that has stuck with me, "I wish I knew then, that I would never find another friend like him." Perhaps we are each guilty of allowing relationships grow stale. May we free ourselves from our business, and pause a moment to reach out. With all of our venues of communication, email, voicemail, text messages, cell phones, how have we become so isolated?
Make this holiday season the one you remember as the one you found your lost friend(s). As for my husband's lost friend we are exchanging pictures & looking forward to the reunion trip.
